I can't wait to tell Reagan what a blessing she is... that from the moment of her birth (really, from the moment of conception!) she has been glorifying God and showing us his love and peace and joy.  His timing for her entrance into this world couldn't have been better.  She reminds us to smile in the midst of difficult circumstances and brings contagious joy to every room she enters.  From one people pleaser to another, I can't wait to help her find herself and find balance in her life... helping her realize who it's most important to please.  I love the relationship she's developing with her sister... it's such a joy to watch.  In addition to that light-up-the-room smile, her eyes are captivating... crystal clear blue... and her belly laugh is the best I've ever heard - drawing others to join her.  Six months old...how did that happen?  Next time you see her, please tell her to cut that out!!  Sure love our little Reag-a-muffin!!

Since you guys keep bugging me... here are a few recent snap shots of the girls!  Enjoy!!  I'll post more soon, I promise.   Love you guys!

It's no secret that time is flying by... Reagan is three months old today and such a joy!

She is a charmer... bringing smiles to strangers wherever we go.

Her smiles come easily and she's been trying to giggle, but they come out more like owl hoots or wheezing, just adorable!

She tolerates the rough love of her big sister with grace, and it's clear these two are already enamored with each other.  I can't wait to see their relationship evolve and their love grow!

Here are her three month pictures...

 What cha lookin' at?

Big smile!  No sound!

Sweetness.

And here is Taylor when she was the same age!  It's fun to compare... even though you're not supposed to do that... beauties, both of them!

Loving life!

We has SO much fun at the zoo last week... I'm trying to soak up my summer home with my family before heading back to work in another week.  And thanks to Julie (our trusty photographer) we captured the whole thing!

New Family Photo!! :)

Taylor was SO excited about the train ride...

I mean seriously excited!!

Each time the train would start moving she would yell "ALL ABOARD!!" at the top of her lungs.  I tried to upload a video of this event, but blogger was giving me trouble (anyone else having trouble uploading videos lately?!)

We went directly to the zoo after riding the train... and had the best time!  All the animals were out and about, there weren't too many people, and everyone was in a good mood.

Sweet Reagan was a trooper!

And here's Taylor with a July 4th cupcake... just thought I'd throw this in for fun (and because she's so cute)!

This summer, in preparation for full-time school in the fall, Taylor started half days at her new school.  Today was her first day and she was quite excited!

And what first day of school would be complete without the mama taking photos?

For the record, I tried to talk her out of pulling her socks all the way up... she said she wanted her socks "tall like skyscrapers!"  Go figure!

Potty training and water activities at school require a few changes of clothes - hence the ziploc...

Her hair is getting so long... and she's growing up so fast!

And this school time for Taylor is giving me a little more one-on-one time with this little love, Reagan Jane!  She started smiling this week and is just delightful!

We're living the life around here and I'm loving every minute of it!

A while ago I mentioned keeping track of some of Taylor's classic toddler phrases that keep us rolling with laughter (most of the time)... here are a few recent ones:

We're doing our best at toilet training...
Me: Where do we put our tee tee?
T: In the potty...
Me: And where do we put our poo poo?
T: In Daddy's potty!
Ha!

In explaining family dymanics...
Me: Leelee is my mom... and I am her daughter.  Grammy is Daddy's mom... and daddy is her son.  I am YOUR mom...
T (matter-of-factly): ... And Grandpa is Daddy's son.  And you are my mommy.  Who is Reagan's mommy?
Aww!  She'll get it soon enough!

In case you didn't know, Taylor has some bossy tendencies... and that's putting it lightly.
T:  Mommy, are you the boss?
Me (sternly): Yes.  Mommy is the boss.
T (turning to her father): Daddy, Mommy is the boss.
At first we laughed... but I couldn't let that stand... I reminded her that Daddy was the boss too.  But, I still like to pull that one out every once in a while.

I always say the word "while" when explaining when something is going to happen (case in point, see the sentence above).  Or... I'll say something like, we'll go to the pool after a while.    Last night Taylor was in bed when she said this...
T: Mommy, will you snuggle with me for many whiles?
I thought that was simply precious.

I'm sure there are many more moments like this... I don't want to forget any of them, but I know that's already out of the question.  She's growing up so quickly... starts preschool next week which has me a little sentimental.  I hear time flies even more now that we have two... and Reagan is seven weeks old today.  Oh boy... we're liven' the life... and I'm doing my best to soak up every second of it.
